La Favorite Coeur de Canne VSOP

La Favorite is one of the last remaining family owned distilleries on the island of Martinique. They harvest estate grown sugar cane which is pressed, naturally fermented, and distilled in a column still. Their VSOP is aged for a minimum of 4 years in ex-Cognac and Bourbon barrels. It has some woodsy vanilla sweetness that is balanced by a bit of cane juice funk. A simply delightful after dinner sipper.
