Cadenhead's is an independent bottler of Whiskey and Rum based in Scotland that was founded in 1842. It's current owner is the J & A Mitchell & Co. Limited who also own the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. This is a single cask, 14 year old Rum from the Foursquare Distillery in Barbados. Foursquare opened in 1996 and is owned by the Seale family who have worked in Rum on the island for generations. Cadenhead's and Foursquare share a love of unadulterated, additive free, non-chill filtered spirits, as this bottling is. It is sweet and floral with pronounced spice notes.
