Aguerrido Cupreata Maestro Tomàs

46% ABV - 750 mL

Agave Cupreata from the state of Guerrero made by Maestro Tomás Gutiérrez in the village of Tepehuixco. The agaves are 8-14 years, pit roasted for 6 days and put through a mechanical shredder. It is fermented in wooden tinas with well water for days. It's double distilled in copper alembic stills and proofed with puntas y colas ("heads and tails" - no water added). It is then aged in glass for 13 months prior to bottling.

Ripe tropical fruit and notes of cocoa with a supple mouthfeel.
