This anise/licorice-based liqueur was the classic ingredient used in a Sazerac Cocktail when Absinthe was banned in the US. Made from a 1934 recipe by J. Marion Legendre, use it as a glass rinse for Sazerac cocktails, in an Herbsaint Frappé, or drink it as you would Absinthe.
