Hay Liqueur? Yep. "Alpeggio" is a high alpine meadow and capturing the essence of the dried plants and flowers that make up the hay from those meadows is a tradition that extends from Italy's Dolomites, though the Austrian Alps, into Bavaria. This alpine hay is infused into neutral spirit and lightly sweetened. It has herbal, grassy notes with hints of chocolate, green tea, honey and cinnamon. It can be enjoyed neat as a digestif, mixed with soda or tonic, or stirred into whiskey, gin, or rum cocktails.
