Cadenhead's Original Collection Miltonduff-Glenlivet 15 Year

Not to be confused with the Scotch brand Glenlivet, this is from the Miltonduff Distillery in Speyside, located in the area that is referred to as Glenlivet. Cadenhead's is the only independent bottler allowed to use that classic geographic designation on their labels as they have been bottling and selling whisky from that region for longer than the namesake brand has existed. Non-chill filtered and no added color.

An abundance of sweet, fruity notes, some highlights include crisp red apples, honey butter and a hint of cedar wood to round things off.

Miltonduff Information

A Speyside distillery known for producing light, floral spirit with a smooth texture. Known for being added to blends and being released under the Ballantine's brand.

Miltonduff, named after the Duff family which owned the estate it operated on, went legal in 1824 - like many whisky distillers, it had operated outside of the law for some time prior to this.
