Primo Aperitivo

Really delightful Aperitivo made in the Los Doctores neighborhood of Mexico City. Made from a base of neutral grain spirit, they steep grapefruit and orange peel, gentian and rhubarb roots, cacao, star anise, and numerous other botanicals. It's sweetened with agave nectar and colored with cochineal and sweet potato. Light bitterness, complex botanical profile, balanced sweetness. Mixes wonderfully with agave spirits and is lovely in a spritz.
