Lustau East India Solera Sherry

20% ABV - 750mL

Cream Sherry that is a blend of dry Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez, each of which are aged for a minimum of 12 years in their own soleras prior to blending. The resulting blend is aged in a 45 cask solera for a further 3 years. Raisins, maple syrup, and an oxidative note on the nose. On the palate it's lush and smoothly textured with prune, orange, and spice notes. A good amount of acidity balances the fruity sweetness. 

An excellent dessert wine that is also fabulous in cocktails that call for a medium or sweet sherry. Swap it in for sweet vermouth in stirred cocktails or shake it up in a cobbler.
