Italian style Red Bitter from Vallet, a distillery in Hidalgo, Mexico founded by Frenchman Henri Vallet in the mid 19th century. They make traditional Amari and Aperitivi utilizing Mexican botanicals and ingredients. The Granada Vallet contains pomegranate, cinnamon, citrus, and fennel. It's bittered with cinchona bark, gentian, and wormwood, and gets its bright red color from Oaxacan cochineal. Use it as you would Campari or other Red Bitters in Negroni's, Americano's and any number of other cocktails applications.
