Pasilla Chile liqueur from the Sierra Mixe (Mee-Hay) region of Oaxaca. Ancestral Pasilla Mixe chiles that are grown at 5000 feet above sea level are harvested and smoke dried in earthen ovens. The chiles are cleaned and split before being left to macerate in Aguardiente de Caña (unaged sugarcane distillate) for up to one year. Once properly infused, a small amount of cane sugar is added to sweeten it prior to the hand bottling and labeling in a gorgeous textured glass bottle.
It is smoky with complex chili and red fruit notes, a lingering spiciness and warm finish. A wonderfully flavorful and spicy cocktail modifier to add to your Margaritas, Daiquiris or Highballs.
