Spirit. Sugar. Water. Bitters. The building blocks of a proper Old Fashioned Cocktail. We love experimenting with different combinations of spirits, sweeteners and bitters in search of new flavor possibilities. This one pairs an oaky Añejo Tequila with Pineapple Gum Syrup for a slightly tropical take on the classic.
Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass with fresh ice until just chilled. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice (or ideally a single large, clear ice cube). With a vegetable peeler, cut a wide peel of lemon and express the oils over the top of the drink.
