Saint James is the oldest Rhum estate in Martinique that dates back to 1765. They grow 4 different cane varietals for their Rhum Agricole. This is perhaps their purest expression at a robust 110 proof. It smells of fresh pressed sugar cane with some floral notes. On the palate it's powerful with tropical fruits, pepper, floral notes and a long, complex finish. An excellent value and wonderful with club soda, or mixed into the national drink of Martinique, a Ti' Punch.
