Probitas Green Label Blended Rum

A blend from two of the finest rum distilleries on earth, Foursquare in Barbados and Hampden Estate in Jamaica. 2 year aged pot still rum and unaged column still from Foursquare blended with an unaged pot still spirit from Hampden. The marque from Hampden is their LROK, one of the highest ester expressions and higher than the one used on the Probitas White Label bottling. Colored with caramel coloring made at Foursquare and bottled at a punchy 57% ABV. The resulting rum is stunning. Sort of reminiscent of a funky pot still Jamaican Rum (think Smith & Cross) but with an undertone of leather and brown sugar, likely from the Foursquare distillates. Like the original Probitas White Label, this rum is stunning and a phenomenal mixing ingredient in cocktails. Think of it as the higher proof, funkier, more aggressive member of the Probitas family.
